Swedish Algae Factory produces a high-tech material from the microalgae group diatoms. Algica is the pure shells of diatoms, a nanoporous material with multifunctional properties. Algica can be claimed as a moisturizer, cleanser, sensory modifier, anti-pollution agent and SPF booster. The patented production is sustainable and 1 ton of Algica traps at least 8 ton CO2, and returns at least 1 ton nitrogen and 100 kg phosphorus from wastewater into the food value chain, annually! Algica is COSMOS approved, vegan, microbiome-friendly, ocean-safe and globally compliant.
